50,000 more NY nursing home bodies discovered

 

Due to a clerical error, an additional 50,000 previously unreported COVID-19 nursing home fatalities have been unearthed. The bodies were accidentally transported from New York to California and laid to rest in a shallow grave at a remote part of Death Valley. On Sunday, hikers stumbled upon the corpses protruding from the sand.

 

NY Mayor Andrew Cuomo masterfully apologized, saying “We forgot about those. Okay? Also, let's not forget that these people were really old. Right now I think it's important that we all stay focused on Donald Trump.”

 

While 50,000 more deaths are unfortunate, we should never lose sight of the fact that Cuomo did a masterful job of calming people who would otherwise be upset had they learned of these deaths at the onset of the pandemic. To honor his heroism, Cuomo's Emmy will be put on permanent display at the Kennedy Center.
