In order to fight climate change and stop fires, California governor Gavin Newsom (D) announced new lockdowns, which will take effect immediately after the coronavirus lockdowns end. All businesses in California will be required to close, in particular restaurants, which are 'superspreaders' of climate change. Use of fossil fuel powered vehicles will also be prohibited. California will also phase out factories by “taxing the hell out of them until they leave.”

Governor Newsom says “We will meet this moment because we are guided by science.”
