Caving to pressure from activist groups fighting white supremacy, Amazon Prime has removed all seasons and episodes of the 90‘s hit TV show, Baywatch, citing a lack of diversity. In fact, none of the starring cast are persons of color, or members of the LGBTQ community. The show implicitly reinforces a racist message that people of color are not capable of rescuing drowning beachgoers.

Amazon’s Chief Diversity Officer told the Atlantis Enquirer that “At one point, the show producers added a token Negro to the cast. But, that doesn’t cut it. In good faith, we offered the producers of Baywatch the opportunity to keep the series up on our platform if they agreed to digitally chang the ethnicity of David Hasselhoff to a person of color, and change Pamela Anderson to non-binary. The refused. And so, effective immediately, the series has been removed. This decision is final.”

Amazon also removed the theme song “I’m Always Here” from their music store when the original singer of the song, Jimi Jamison either did not return phone calls or did not agree to have his vocals replaced by Snoop Dog.
